Option 1
Download installation program to a Windows computer Download
Run the downloaded file (Windows will warn that file might be dangerous, just press Keep and continue)
Enable "Developer options" on Android device: Settings - About - Tap "Build number" 7 times
Enable USB-debugging (and WiFi Debugging) on Android device: Settings - System - Developer options - Enable "USB Debugging" and if exist "Wireless debugging" or "Open net ADB"
Sometimes USB-debugging is hidden in the bottom, so countinue to press down on your keyboard or remote until you reach it.
Connect USB cable or use Wifi to connect the Android device from the Windows computer
For Android version >=13 you must use "Pair" method first and then connect to the screen over Wifi
Option 2 (if device has a camera)
Factory reset device, tap screen 7 times on same place, choose language and scan below QR-code.
After scan, connect to Wi-Fi, on some device then press back if nothing happens.

Option 3 (Work on most devices but only on Android version <=12
Enable "Developer options" on Android device: Settings - About - Tap "Build number" 7 times

If you already have download our VAPlayerWeb.apk to an USB stick, insert stick and open the file - Choose install (can be done offline)
Option 2
Start web browser on device
Choose download, choose "Package Manager" to install app
On some devices you will need to grant access to webbrowser to install apps
Or use "Files" to find the downloaded file VAPlayerWeb.apk and install from there
Both options
Start VAPlayer application (or restart Android device)
When VAPlayer starts you will see a start screen asking for "Use ADB to get Device Owner"
Press this button, if a dialogbox appears, press "Allow"
If the screen reboots after 30 seconds all worked fine
If the screen does not reboot, you will have to use option 1 or 2

Do NOT log in with any Google Account
Make sure you have the latest firmware
Settings - System - About - System Software update, should be Android >=12, version>=6.8112
Install our software the normal way, (click build 7 times, enable USB-debug....install VAPlayer app)
Goto Settings
Display - Light Sensor off
Network and Internet - Local Network setup - IPControl
Remote Device settings - on
Change to normal+preshared key
Enter presharded key "8888" for never screens "8888_8888_8888", try only 8888 first

Power and Energy
Turn off display after: Never
Power saving: Off
Cast = Never
Apple & Homekit = Airplay: Off
Start Pro settings app
Pro settings
AC Power On - Always
Wake-Up Signal - Always enabled
Charge USB during Standbymode - Enable
Allow App - VAPlayerWeb allowed
Change to Pro Mode in the Pro app
Reboot (by unplug/replug power)
VAPlayer will start
ℹ️If you need to exit Pro mode, i+, mute, vol+, home
Option 2, use RDM Tool from Sony
Almost all settings can be set using this tool, "denisty" needs to set manually after this
ℹ️Display needs to have Android 10, version 6.7283 (released in August 2024) or Android 12, if lower Settings - System - About - System Software update, should then be Android 12, do factory reset again
Login to Sony "Remote Device Manager" https://apps.rdm.sony.net
RDM - Device registration - Individial registration - register with serial number or mac address - chose Profile VAPlayer
On display - Do not select languange on the Screen, wait for a code to be visible...if you have bypassed select language, do a factory reset, see bottom of page
RDM Provisioning - Enter the code on the screen - Provision will start, takes around 5-10 minutes!
(will work soon) When our application has started, press F10, our application will be invisible, allow the dialogbox showed on screen, wait..., screen will reboot if all went fine and density will be correct.
If this do not work, see Option 1 to install Android and change density

Hold power button + power on until "Erasing" is showing on screen
