Screen information
Click on the options button of a screen and go to [settings] so show various screen settings and configuration. A screen in signage player is required to have the following information:
Screen name (name of the screen)
Location (location of the screen)
Orientation (landscape or portrait installation)
Screen type (the “format” of a screen. Usually Portrait or Landscape, but can be different if screen is divided into layers, or for unusual formats)
Tagging screens
Tagging screens is important for organisation and in making screen selection easy and efficient. In the settings modal of a screen, click [tags] to create new tags or select from your available tags. Tag your screens with relevant tags and keep in mind what type of content that will be broadcasted to them. Then use screen tags when broadcasting to easy large groups of specific screens with ease.
Screen status
The status icon on each screen shows the current status of the screen.
Online - Screen is online and communication with signage player is ok
Offline / no contact - Screen is currently offline.
Unpaired - A screen is waiting to be paired with Signage Player
Critical issue - Screen is not communicating with Signage Player. Screen might still play downloaded playlists, but can't download new playlist until issue is resolved. Hover over the status icon to see additional information about the error.
The most common error for screens is that it's unable to connect to the internet due to local connection issues. This usually fixes itself with no noticeable disturbance on the content playing since it is downloaded and played locally. If a screen error persists, contact our support and they will help you get it back online.
Screen playlist
Click on a screen name to show the playlist for that specific screen. The screen playlist shows all media currently playing on a screen, including broadcasts targeting this screen.

Adding media to screen playlist
You can add media manually to a screen by dragging and dropping content from the media library, or by clicking [add to playlist] and selecting what type of content you want to add.
Reorder your screen playlist by dragging the drag handle on a media up or down. You can only reorder media files in the screen playlist. Broadcasts in the screen playlist will follow the media order set up in the specific broadcast.
